Produced in the 1870's for the Electrical Construction & Maintenance Company, which operated a telegraph supply house in San Francisco, California.
An especially nice example! The only blemish is a small flake at the 8 o'clock position of the base view (second image). Remainder of the entire insulator, including the sharp edged base, are in superb condition.
