#147 CD 125 PATENT DEC 19 1871. WU 5. Yellow green.
All of the various "exotic" green examples of this type insulator are seldom encountered and have strong demand among collectors. This includes the "Christmas tree" green, yellow green and mustard toned examples, of which there are variations in shade and tone within this family.
This particular example has a fair amount of yellow toning, and is somewhat lighter than previously encountered units. It contrasts quite well with the darker Christmas tree green examples, and would be of special interest to an "1871" specialist or anyone seeking a run of different colors in the CD 125.
Especially nice condition, remaining very near mint+.
