Some electrical supply companies listed "specially colored" glass insulators as part of their available products. These colored examples were typically used to designate different circuits. In the case of usage on electrical lines, they often designated different voltages.
Three drip points are only partially flaked, only one of which shows when viewed from the outside. Remainder of insulator is very near mint+.
