Description

#247     CD 151     NATCO      HG CO.      PATD MAY 2 1893      PETTICOAT.     Bright peacock blue.

Produced by the Hemingray Glass Company for the North American Telegraph Company.  Communication lines owned by the North American Telegraph Company were operated in the upper Midwest.  Peacock blue examples of the CD 151 have been found primarily in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Drip points on the inner skirt are totally damage free,  Five drip pints on outer skirt are only partially flaked, and most appear fully intact from the outside.  Hard to see, thin and shallow bruise on underside of upper wire ridge (directly below the "AT" in Natco).  Not perfect, but nicer condition than most examples.

From the collection of the late John Ayer.
