Description

#257     CD 287.1     F.M. LOCKE & CO.  VICTOR N.Y.     PATD MAY 22 1894.     Bright peacock blue.

Another colorful power glass insulator made for Locke by the Hemingray Glass Company.  Limited numbers have been found, the majority recovered in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area decades ago.  A small number of the peacock blue units were also found in Texas.

A beautiful example lacking the usual chips and other damage.  The entire insulator is nearly flawless except for one flake on the inner-most skirt!  A beauty!
