#303 742 M.T.CO. Cornflower blue.
Produced for the Montreal Telegraph Company. Aqua examples of the 742 are among the more common of threadless insulators, but these sparkling blue beauties are seldom encountered and are highly desirable among collectors. The glass has excellent clarity and brightness.
Sparkling, shiny surface. Perfect embossing. Lacks the usual chips and flakes, including the base. Bruise on the base as seen in the second photo has only a pinhead size area of glass missing. Extra nice condition for this damage prone style.
