Description

#320     CD 206.5     HARLOE'S PATENT     MAR 21. '99     MAR 12. '01     DEC 9, '02.     P 2 S.        HICO     HAWLEY PA  U.S.A.       6.      Aqua.

The large size Harloe patent insulator.  The large size Harloe is more difficult to locate than the smaller units.

There are two distinctively different mold variant of the large size.  One type has overlapping fingers which bend the line wire (similar to the smaller CD 190.5), whereas this type has fingers which do not overlap.  Rather, there is an open space which can be seen between the fingers when viewed from the side, as shown in the second photo.  We personally feel these differing designs of the large type should have different CD numbers to more easily distinguish between the two types.

An item that is seldom encountered, and quite rare in excellent condition.  Perhaps the best condition example we've ever encountered, as it remans nearly perfect!!!  A thin, pinhead base flake is the only "damage" found!  Phenomenal!
