#377 CD 257 HEMINGRAY PATENT JUNE 17 1890 MAY 2 1893. Aqua with green swirls. Wide groove type.
Hemingray produced the "Mickey Mouse" insulator over a period of decades, resulting in a variety of embossing, color and style types being manufactured. This variant has a wide, flat saddle groove. Iron oxide impurities in the glass create an overall green tone.
Very near mint+.
