Description

#472       CD 151       N.A.T. CO.       H.G. CO.     PATD MAY 2ND 1893.      Bright peacock blue.

Produced by the Hemingray Glass Company for the North American Telegraph Company.  Communication lines owned by the North American Telegraph Company were operated in the upper Midwest.  Peacock blue examples of the CD 151 have been found primarily in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Drip points on outer skirt remain in excellent condition with no flakes detected.  Inner skirt has two drip points removed and another partially flaked.  Two pinkie nail flakes on the inner skirt surface.   Quite nice condition for a Natco.

Peacock blue HG Co products vary in color depth and intensity.  This one is especially bright and vibrant, magnified to an even greater degree by the thick dome glass.
