#501 CD 162 H.G. CO. PATENT MAY 2 1893. PETTICOAT. Yellow
The elusive true yellow! These were used in the Pacific Northwest, primarily in the extreme eastern portion of Washington, and Northern Idaho area. Some have also been reported found in the Kansas City area. Few have been discovered, and they are highly sought by collectors.
This one has some damage, but will fill that empty spot on the shelf for the time being. There is chipping and flaking to the base, but all the embossing remains intact. Upper portion of the insulator remains pretty nice, with only one relatively shallow, fingernail chip on the reverse wire ridge.
