Description

#437     CD 160.6     AM. TEL & TEL CO.     PATD. NOV 13TH 1883.       Aqua.      Numeral "1" on dome.

One of the older insulators produced on special order for American Telephone & Telegraph Company, apparently by Brookfield while in Brooklyn.  These are scarce and in relatively high demand by collectors.

Entire outer area remains in excellent condition.   Second photo shows a red arrow, indicating a small chip on the inner skirt, which has a shallow fingernail flake extending upward on the surface of the inner skirt.  All other light/dark areas or irregularities seen in the photos are reflections, shadows, bubbles etc, not damage.

Buy-Now Price: $300.

BUY-NOW lots are subject to the normal 12% buyer premium, added to the Buy-Now price.

All lots in this event numbered #363 and up are obtainable using two different purchase methods.  A bidder has the option of bidding on these lots at the current next raise as an auction item.  Or, you may make an instant purchase by clicking the "BUY-NOW" area, positioned just below the green "SUBMIT BID" button.

A reserve has been set on Buy-Now lots.  Once the reserve amount has been met, the Buy-Now option will no longer be available.

Buy-Now and auction purchases will be invoiced by email prior to 12 noon, Tuesday, May 2.  Invoices will also be viewable to purchasers on the auction site at that time.
