#513 CD 260 CALIFORNIA Amethyst.
Produced in Long Beach, California by a glass house that was known as the California Glass Insulator Company, and later as California Glass Works. The factory is reported have started operation in 1912 and existed for a few years. Various designs of California insulators were produced, including these "helmet" style examples.
Shallow flaking above the "C" on the center ridge has total size of a pinkie nail. Two areas of flaking/abrasion on the reverse center ridge. One is pinkie nail size, the other slightly larger (see second photo). Inner skirt chip is 2/3 the size of a dime.
