Description

#569       CD 121         W.F.G. CO.   DENVER, COLO.      16       Blue with slight lavender tint.

Yellow-olive impurities above and around a portion of the pinhole.

Produced at the Western Flint Glass Company factory in Valverde, Colorado.  The company was formed in 1899 after a fire damaged a glass plant operated by Robert Good at the same location.  Examples of tolls produced at W.F.G. appear in colors mostly unique to this factory, and are eagerly sought by collectors.

Small pot stone (a little larger than a pinhead) has a 2/3 pinkie nail halo just under the surface.  Surface annealing lines, typical of Denver glass.  As for issues since leaving the factory, it grades very near mint+.
