The glass exhibits especially bright characteristics! The color tone is somewhat more yellow and lighter than most amber examples. The thin glass allows for abundant light to pass through, creating an amazing dazzler!
Globe fruit jars made by Hemingray were produced in the exact same color, perhaps explaining why glass of this color was used for insulators. Most of the few known amber examples were found in and around Lincoln, Nebraska decades ago.
Three shallow, small flakes on the lower wire ridge. Two are just a little larger than a pinhead and one is smaller than a book-match head. All quite minor, so we grade this beauty very near mint. Finding an aqua example this nice is difficult, let alone an amber one!
