Description

#630       CD 162       H.G. CO.    PATENT MAY 2 1893.      PETTICOAT       Bright peacock blue.

The glass used to produce these colorful "signal" style insulators is identical to that used in the production of some oil lamps manufactured by the Hemingray Glass Company during the 1890's.  Sizable numbers of these brightly colored insulators were used on power lines in the state of Kansas.  They are in high demand by collectors for their brilliant, eye appealing color.

We find only four partially flaked drip points.  A nice one!
