Description

#648       CD 166.2        Unmarked.       Rich teal.      "Pennycuick" threads.

Various insulator styles were produced having a well defined interior thread, similar to those known to have been manufactured with James Pennycuick's patented process.  Numerous attractive colors can be found in several designs, making them quite popular with collectors.

A little under "very near mint."  Three match head, shallow flakes on the wire ridge.  Just a little nibbling at the base edge.  Shallow inner skirt chip is the size of the tip (1/3) of a 5¢ coin.

Displays well from all angles, as the blemishes are pretty minor.
