#686 CD ??? Unembossed. Aqua.
A rather peculiar design with a large, broad skirt and an out of proportion, smaller size dome. Similar in some ways to a CD 133.2, but this is a totally different animal!
Molding characteristics are identical to many of the "Beaver Falls suspects." Oversize pinhole with creases in the top is identical to that found within other insulator types suspected of Beaver Falls production.
Experienced collectors recognize this as one of the more elusive designs in the above mentioned grouping, with only perhaps three examples encountered over the years.
A couple pinhead marks and a couple slightly larger than match-head flakes, so it easily grades very near mint.
