#690 CD 134 PATENT DEC 19 1871 Vivid peacock blue.
Produced by the Hemingray Glass Company. Although bright peacock blue CD 162 HG Co signals were produced in sizable quantities, this smaller style, 1871 dated type apparently saw quite sparse production, as few have been found in this attractive color!
Traces of embossing present.
Has only two very shallow flakes, each a little larger than a wooden match head.
