Description

#692        CD 164      H.G. CO.     PATENT MAY 2 1893       Brilliant peacock blue.

Examples of the peacock blue CD 162 H.G. Co. are readily available, but the larger CD 164 is nearly nonexistent!  They rarely surface for sale.  A very small number of these beauties were found in Kansas City many years ago.  A key piece for a CD 164 collector, H.G. Co. collector, or anyone seeking general rare, colorful items.

Crude surface and a slight milky-opaqueness within the glass.

Very shallow surface chip on the upper portion of the wire ridge is thumbnail size (see far left in first photo).

Update: 8:20 A.M. Sunday, September 13.  Second photo added, showing drip points in overall very nice condition with only a small number partially flaked.  Even the sharp wire ridge remains in excellent condition other than the one area mentioned in original description.
