#770 CD 145 H.G. CO. PETTICOAT. Green. Mould letter “I.”
A seldom seen color for an HG Co. beehive. There are both olive and yellow tones, but rather than attempt to classify this beauty with a color "name," we'll just let the photos speak for themselves. Quite an attractive and desirable color!
Small, open base bubble can be seen below the "I," which has some shallow edge flaking. Bruise-flake can be seen in the first photo, to the right. Otherwise, some shallow match head flakes along the base corner at right front. One shallow flake on reverse base edge is slightly larger than a wooden match head. The description sounds worse than the actual condition, the only noticeable blemish being the front base bruise. Check both photos to see how nice this item actually appears.
