Description

#787        CD 162         H.G. CO.   PATENT MAY 2 1893        PETTICOAT        Dark purple.

Very attractive, dark purple coloration that's just a little lighter the darkest royal purple examples.  Some light passes through the pinhole, exhibiting the rich purple coloration quite well.  A "must have" variant for anyone seeking a complete color run of purple H.G. Co signals.  We find this shade scarcer than the deep royal purple examples.

Nice surface creases on the front dome.

Only four drip points are partially flaked.  Remainder of insulator is in wonderful, sparkling condition!
