#835 HEMINGRAY NO 12 PATENT MAY 2 1893 Amethyst mix.
A small, communication style insulator produced by the Hemingray Glass Company that is commonly found in aquamarine colored glass, but scarce in any shade of amethyst or purple.
A special example, having light and dark amethyst coloration mixed throughout. Well defined color separation is most prevalent front and center! Additionally, a "U" shaped olive amber streak is positioned just beneath the embossing, adding even more character.
Drip points remain in excellent condition, with only one partially flaked. Shallow, match head size wire ridge flake, and another flake, is half pinkie nail size.
A great looking "character piece!"
