#863 CD 256 MANHATTAN "PATENTED JUNE 17 1890" Green.
A small cable style insulator with a large saddle groove. This design was illustrated in a C.S. Knowles Catalogue, as shown in the second photo. Knowles was a large electrical supply company, based out of Boston, Massachusetts.
Attractive color!
