A fabulous example of nicely preserved wood! The wood cover still retains a thin layer of the of the original black coal tar on the outer surface. One side remains in a remarkable state of preservation. The other side was exposed to the elements, and shows a small amount of deterioration, just enough portray the age of the historic relic.
A wonderful example in all respects!
Wood in excellent overall condition. Glass is very near mint.
