Description

#1061     CD 130      CAL. ELEC. WORKS PATENT       Aqua with impurities      Three piece mold variant.

Olive amber impurities are present in the wire ridges and all around the insulator in the skirt area.

Produced for the California Electrical Works, circa late 1870’s - early1880’s. The company, formed in 1877 as successor to the Electrical Construction & Maintenance Company, distributed their products throughout the western part of the US, and to far reaching places such as Mexico, British Columbia, and Hawaii.

Bruise below the bottom wire ridge is 1-1/2 across, visible in the second photo.  Reverse dome bruise, visible to the right in third photo.  Otherwise, just smaller surface blemishes at the dome edge and wire ridges.  Some damage, but lacking the often encountered, large chips on the wire ridges.

Nice swirls!
