#1078 CD 145 H.G. CO. PETTICOAT B. Opaque blue.
The glass is full of opaque impurities, creating a very attractive blue "jade" appearance! The opaqueness is so intense, it totally obscures some of the threads in the pinhole.
"B" mold letter is well defined. Remainder of embossing is faint.
Chip on left side (does not go through) is the size of an elongated 5¢ coin (see second photo). Remainder of insulator is excellent. Without damage, likely a $2500 - $3000 item.
Update, 8:20 P.M. Saturday, March 27: A collector has contacted us to advise he and his wife found this item decades ago, just to the east of Rock Springs, Wyoming.
