#1099 CD 145 Unmarked. Aqua with steel-gray tone. "Grand Canyon" type.
"Under-poured" base creates interesting character and a lean to the right.
Likely produced in Valverde, Colorado during the time the glass factory at that location was operated as the Western Flint Glass Company. Although examples of this type beehive shaped insulator have found at various locations in the Rocky Mountain Region and general western portion of the US, one sizable discovery of this type insulator was found along the route of a railroad between Williams, Arizona and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, thus the nickname.
A couple match head surface marks on the dome and a few pinhead or smaller surface blemishes. Easily grades very near mint overall.
