#1141 CD 303-310 HEMINGRAY MUNCIE TYPE NO 76. Aqua, green and amber.
The upper section is loaded with an abundance of amber impurities, creating an overall green appearance to the glass. A multitude of amber streaks spiral around the insulator like a giant whirlpool, creating a rather dramatic appearance!
These colorful beauties were used on a power line in Kansas, where the majority of the swirled examples currently in the hobby likely originated, although a small number are also reported to have been found in Montana.
Thumbnail size surface chip on the inside of the skirt (at left in first photo). Two drip points partially flaked (at right in first photo). Base chip below the Hemingray embossing stays mostly to the inside of the skirt, affecting the drip points shown at the 12 o'clock position in last photo.
Big, colorful, power glass!
