#1142 CD 304-310 HEMINGRAY PATENT MAY 2 1893 Green with streaks.
The large and impressive "Coolie Hat" in a very impressive color! In all the years of collecting and selling insulators, this is the best green example we've ever had. The top portion has additional olive amber impurities throughout, creating a strong coloration very similar to an emerald gemstone.
The bottom sleeve started as aqua glass, but due to an abundance of olive amber streaks, a green appearance is created. The amber streaking is nicely pronounced, even from a distance of several feet.
Two drip points did not fill out completely because of small open bubbles. Two others only partially flaked. Great condition for this large item!
