A subtle two-tone effect is created with the mixture of amethyst and smoke colored glass.
California embossed insulators are fun to collect due to the large variety of unique colors available to collectors. Most of the hues and tones found in insulators produced with the "California" and "CGI Co" markings are not found in insulators made by other glass manufacturers.
