A scarce insulator in an attractive, seldom encountered green coloration!
Known as the "Chambers Companion," this unusually designed insulator was used on a Chambers lightning protection system to hold the riser, which fit into the side slot. Produced by the Hemingray Glass Company in Covington, Kentucky.
The embossed side displays excellent, with only a little minor flaking on the lower flange. The flange on the slotted side has a chip, to the right of the slot, as shown in the second photo.
