An abundance of amber throughout the glass sets this one apart from the rest!
For starters, a collector will likely encounter at least 100 dome embossed, aqua "P.R.R." insulators for every one "P.L.W." aqua example. That gives an indication of scarcity for this marking. Next, consider the small percentage of green P.L.W. examples compared to aqua units. Now, throw in all that amber, and you've got a real gem!
Produced by Brookfield for the Pennsylvania Railroad's lines west of Pittsburgh, thus the designation for "Pennsylvania Lines West."
