#1238 CD 185 HEMINGRAY NO 95 Aqua. Sharp drip points.
A specially designed insulator with a through pinhole, fashioned for use in mines where water seepage created challenges for insulating wires. This design was patented in 1895 by David Osyor. The through pinhole allowed for a specially designed pin to drain water, which otherwise would have accumulated in the upper portion of the insulator.
Tough to find in this very near mint condition!
