Generally speaking, this type "helmet" insulator, used on high voltage power lines, is much scarcer than the helmets in the CD 258-260 series.
Likely produced by the Brookfield Glass Company.
Amber impurity in the right skirt caused uneven cooling, resulting in an internal bruise which remains mostly concealed, and an annealing line which traverses up the skirt (at far right in photo). Pencil eraser diameter ear flake.
Attractive, heavily "whittled" surface!
