An interesting and scarce item from the Bob Moss collection. One of the many unusual pieces to come out of the old Whitall Tatum glass plant in Millville, NJ.
The CD 127 has been split into two separate CD numbers (127 and 127.1) because one has a small wire ridge below the wire groove and one does not. We have to wonder if this is also a variant qualifying for a different number? The CD 128 does not have a wire ridge, whereas this insulator has a well pronounced ridge.
Regardless of CD classification, this is a rarely encountered insulator.
Unused. Very, very near mint.
