Produced in Canada for use on telephone lines. Most American made insulators of this design were produced in lighter colored glass, so these dark units really stand out.
Attractive folds and creases on the glass surface.
Flat base chip, as shown in second photo. Remainder of insulator is sparkling, very near mint+.
