#1407 CD 130 CAL ELEC WORKS. PATENT. Aqua.
Produced for the California Electrical Works of San Francisco, California, a telegraph and electrical supply company which was created in 1877. Various products were offered by the company including insulators. This design, along with the CD 130.1 and the CD 120 were marked with the company identification.
Two side by side pinkie nail chips on front lower wire ridge (see far right in first photo). Two separate pinkie nail chips on the reverse wire ridge, flat reverse base chip (see second photo). None of the damage is unsightly, and the insulator displays pretty decent from all angles.
