Description

#1441      CD 151       N.A.T. CO.      H.G. CO.      PATD MAY 2 1893.       PETTICOAT.         Vivid peacock blue.

Brightly colored glass with exceptional clarity.

Produced by the Hemingray Glass Company for the North American Telegraph Company. Communication lines owned by the North American Telegraph Company were operated in the upper Midwest.  Exotic blue examples of the CD 151 have been found primarily in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Drip points on inner skirt are amazingly, totally free of damage.  Drip points on outer skirt are all blemish free, with the exception of one, which appears nearly complete from the outside, having only a small flake.  That's fabulous for this damage prone style with so many drip points!  Shallow, one inch chip on reverse wire ridge with some underlying surface bruising (see center of upper ridge in second photo).
