Three piece mold variant.
Produced for the California Electrical Works, circa late 1870's to early 1880's. CEW succeeded the Electrical Construction & Maintenance Company of San Francisco in 1877 and continued to supply electrical apparatus and materials into the early 1900's.
Numerous micro bubbles within the glass make it sparkle!
A style that typically has damage, this is a beautiful exception! Has only a match head wire ridge flake and a very minor rub on the dome corner. Base in exceptional condition. Worth a premium for the superior condition!
