"Cauvet" and three patent dates on reverse dome.
The "45 Cliff St." marking indicates that despite other designs becoming more popular through the 1870's and into the 1880's, some concave skirt CD 131 continued to be produced into the early or mid 1880's by Brookfield, likely on a somewhat limited basis.
Embossing is well executed and all easily readable, which is not always the case.
Pencil eraser diameter, surface blemish on very top of the dome. Overall, a nice example that grades very near mint.
