#1549 CD 144 PATENT. DEC. 23. 1890. Greenish aqua.
The 1890 date is in reference to a patent issued to Foree Bain for the surface ribs.
Most often, these are found with no embossing. The much scarcer units with embossing have surfaced along the route of a railroad in Colorado.
Much nicer condition than most CD144 examples, having only three small match head flakes on the ridges and just a little blemishing on the dome. A beauty!!!!
