Description

#1562       CD 162        H.G. CO.        PATENT MAY 2 1893.       Bright peacock blue.

Bright, phosphorescent qualities in the glass.  These brightly colored, peacock blue Hemingray signals are scarcer than the later cobalt blue examples.  Power companies in the state of Kansas used quantities of colored signals, including these beauties.

Outer area of insulator in wonderful, very near mint+ condition.  Eight drip points appear complete or very nearly so, but upon close examination reveal quite small flakes.  Thumbnail inner skirt chip.  A wonderfully colored signal that looks great your shelf!
