Another scarce embossing for a CD 162.
A slight touch of olive amber impurities in the left dome creates a subtle color shift in that area.
Manufactured by the Ohio Valley Glass Company in Pleasant City, Ohio. The company produced several styles of insulators for communication lines. Some of the smaller styles are commonly found, however this particular "signal" style is quite scarce.
Two shallow base flakes, one pencil eraser diameter. The other narrower, but longer than a fingernail (remains quite shallow, as it's positioned below the "CO" on the insulator front, and is hard to detect in the photo). Stress flash up from the base, goes up to the "A" in "Petticoat."
