#1577 CD 281 HEMINGRAY NO 1 HIGH VOLTAGE PATENT MAY 2 1893. Aqua with olive-amber swirls.
Sizable, well pronounced impurities swirl around both sides of the insulator, creating an attractive, "candy cane" effect within the glass.
Similar, heavy creases also swirl around and around the glass on the dome surface, creating additional attractive character!
A sizable power piece with excellent coloration and character!
Non-distracting, clamshell type bruise, up from four drip points, can be seen to the far left in the photo. Because it's positioned at the side, both the front and reverse can be displayed in excellent condition. Aside from the shallow bruised area involving four drip points (two of those four are partially flaked), the remainder of the base has only one partially flaked drip point.
