Description

#1602       CD 133.4       PATD      Milky aqua.

"Bullet" shaped insulator with base embossed "PATD" marking.  Produced by an unconfirmed glasshouse, circa 1870's-1880's.

Milky impurities stream through the glass, creating a somewhat opaque appearance.

Flat, pinkie nail, base flake does not affect embossing.  Dome abrasion.  Insulator has been tumble cleaned, but evidence of scratches and an annealing touch mark are still present.
