Description

#1604      CD 143       Unmarked.        Gray-sage with amethyst.

The insulator surface has a well pronounced "whittled" appearance, thus known as the "whittle mold" CD 143 variant.   The glass surface, from top to bottom, has recessed lines forming a "road map" pattern.  Collectors find this interesting characteristic quite attractive, and eagerly pursue these small Canadian "beehives."

This particular example has nicely pronounced lines.

The main body of the insulator is a grayish-sage colour, with amethyst toning in the dome.

Shallow fingernail chip on the surface below the wire groove, and a small area of flaking on the base edge.
