#1609 CD 143 MONTREAL TELEGRAPH CO. Blue aqua. Embossing on two mold halves.
Regular rounded base. Heavy, thick glass is strong on the blue tone of "aqua."
The Montreal Telegraph Company was one of Canada’s earliest communication companies, formed in 1847. These jewels date from the later portion of M.T. Co. existence, likely from the middle 1870's to perhaps the early 1880's.
Exceptional, sparkling, very near mint+ condition!
