Although unmarked, this design is generally referred to as the "MT Co." type, as many examples are marked with that lettering. Some unmarked examples were likely used by the Montreal Telegraph Company, and perhaps by MT CO's competitors.
This mold variant has a stocky stature in comparison to some 742 examples.
Shallow, flake-type chip is only the width of a pinkie nail, traversing from base to upper part of the skirt. Shallow base chip. Overall, in quite nice condition, including much of the base (much better condition than most examples)!
