Description

#1647       CD 263       PAT'D MAY 12 1891.      COLUMBIA      Dark green aqua.

The richly colored glass has teal tones.   Produced by the Brookfield Glass Company.

The openings in the ears for inserting a tie wire was one of many inventions patented by Samuel Oakman.  He secured numerous patents related to glass making over a period of four decades.

Bubble at front base is completely enclosed... no damage.

Most of the surface is shiny, with some haziness of portions of the ears.  Open bubble on reverse base is a touch smaller than a pinkie nail.  Bottom thread in the pinhole has a bruise just under the surface.

Buy-Now Price: $120.

BUY-NOW lots are subject to the normal 12% buyer premium, added to the Buy-Now price.

All lots in this event numbered #1641 and up are obtainable using two different purchase methods.  A bidder has the option of bidding on these lots at the current next raise as an auction item.  Or, you may make an instant purchase by clicking the "BUY-NOW" area, positioned just below the green "SUBMIT BID" button.
