Description

#1667        CD 123       E.C&M CO. S.F.       Light aqua.     "C" mold variant.

Produced in the 1870's for the Electrical Construction & Maintenance Company, which operated a telegraph supply house in San Francisco, California.

This is the earlier "C" mold variant with beveled dome.

Wire rub marks on the left skirt area, likely from a "swing wire" arrangement in a forested area.  Fingernail chip above wire groove removes lower portion of "C."  Chip on right base as seen in second photo.  Fracture from base, travels upward along the side mold line (see red arrows in second photo), then most of the way across the dome top.   Lesser surface blemishes.  Displays pretty decent and priced to sell!

Buy-Now Price: $140.

BUY-NOW lots are subject to the normal 12% buyer premium, added to the Buy-Now price.
